Spring Break

Ah snow. I don't get to see it that often. Nor do I get to see very much of it when I do. It has always been much of a mystery to me, since I reign from the lower-east United States (Florida, to be exact). Well, that all changed the day spring break started. After a 19 hour drive into the heart of the rocky mountains, my whole perception of snow changed. It snowed two feet- TWO FEET- during the first two days we were there. I have NEVER seen that much snow in my life. Let me just say, thank god it did snow that much, because if it hadn't, I would be seriously injured right now. I went snowboarding for the second time in my life, and man did I fall a lot. But the best part about snow is that it acts like a giant cushion; falling didn't hurt a bit! We went to the ski resort named "Mary Jane", which was suprisingly not busy for the conditions. I had an absolute blast, and I now have a newfound respect for the cold. Next spring break, Colorado here I come!
